Day 01 : Coimbatore - Mettupalaym
Arrival at Coimbatore airport/railway station to be greeted by our
executive. Transfer to resort at mettupalayam.(Village resort/Water theme
park resort).Day can be spent at the resort or at the water theme
park.Evening at the resort.
Day 02 : Mettupalayam - Ooty
After morning breakfast check out of the resort and proceed to Ooty -The
Queen of Hill-Stations. On the way stop at Coonoor to visit some interesting
places such as Dolphin Nose- is a great vantage point that offers a
panoramic view of the surrounding areas. Sim's park- the park more than 1000
plant species, including many flowering plants, pines, ferns and shrubs.
Lambs Rock - another vantage point that is ideal for taking pictures and is
a wonderful picnic spot . On arrival at Ooty check in at resort and rest of
the day is can be spent exploring the town or lazing yourself at the resort
or shopping at the local market.
Day 03 : Ooty
After morning breakfast, proceed for a full day local tour of Ooty. Some of
the important places of tourist interest are: Ooty Botanical garden-Lush
green well maintained lawns and rare tree species are some of the many
highlights of this garden. Doddabetta - At a height of 2,623 metres, is the
highest point in the district. Rose garden, Wenlock Downs- a vast zone of
amazing landscape, are other attractions of Ooty. Pykara lake is good place
for boating and honeymoon couples can enjoy picnics in the woods near golf
course .Evening at the resort.
Day 04 : Ooty
After breakfast travel to the mountain country side to visit places such as
AVALANCHE or MUDUMALAI.( Stay at Jungle guest house(Avalanche) or Jungle
resort(Mudumalai) any one as per your choice. You can see wild animals in
their natural habitat in the safety of your room. Enjoy the "Far from
the madding crowd" solitude in both the places. Evening at the jungle
guest house or jungle resort.
Day 05 : Ooty - Kothagiri
After breakfast enjoy the leisurely drive to Kothagiri, on the way the
fresh mountain air and view will rejuvenate your body and soul. Check into
resort in Kothagiri and spend time at the stone house and also the
breathtaking views at Dodabetta view point .Evening campfire and stay at
resort.
Day 06 : Kothagiri - Coimabtore
After morning breakfast check out of the resort and proceed to St Catherine
Water falls. Spend your time relaxing yourself at the waterfalls and the
nearby tea estates. Evening drive to Coimbatore and stay overnight at the
hotel/resort in Coimbatore or proceed further on your onward journey through
flight/train as per availability.
Day 07 : (OPTIONAL)
After break fast check out and drop at airport/railway station your onward
journey.
