» Idukki Wildlife Sanctuary :
Location : Idukki District, Central Kerala
This sanctury is located between the Periyar and Cheruthoni rivers. Idukki is also a popular hill station in South India and home to a wildlife sanctuary which is known as the Idukki Wildlife Sanctury. A rich collection of different species of animals, attracting wildlife enthusiasts on a large scale. Besides the animal watching, one can visit the tea garden and coffee garden of Idukki as well.
Animal Species : Among the craniate one can spot see a large number of elephants, bisons, sambhars, deers, wild dogs, jungle cats, tigers, leopards, barking deers, Nilgari langurs, jackals, civets, wild boars and bears.

» Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary :
Location : Idukki District, South-east Kerala
Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary which is also known as the Thekkady Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the finest wildlife sanctuaries in India . Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary covers an area of approximately 777 sq km. It is located in the picturesque sourroundings of western ghat of Kerela. It is one of the most visited wildlife sancturies of India.The Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary's morphology and climate supports a wide variety of flora and fauna.
Animal species : This is one of the best abodes for tigers, elephant, gaur, sambar, barking deer, wild dog, Nilgiri tahr and langur.

» Indira Gandhi Wildlife Sanctuary and National Park :
Location : TopslipAnamalai Hills,Tamil naidu
This Sanctury is situated on the top of the Anamalai Hills in the Western Ghats spread over 9.58 sq km. This sanctuary includes a national park with an area of 108 sq km. An ecological paradise this place is neighbouring Kerala on the west. This hill forest boasts of thick growth of trees, folds of terrains with evergreen sholas. About 800 species of South Indian flora are distributed here.
Animal Species : Tiger, Panther, Elephant, Gaur, Pangolin, Sambar, Spotted Deer, Barking Deer, Mouse Deer, Wild Boar, Dhole, Sloth Bear, Porcupine, Nilgiris Tahr, Civet Cat and Toddy Cat and numerous bird species

Location : Karnataka
